Damian Grzywacz,MHA
Founder & CEO
Damian grew up in Rochester, NY, after being born in a Polish neighborhood in Chicago, IL. He attended SUNY-Potsdam and the University of Georgia and went on to Seton Hall University for his Masters of Healthcare Administration. He has been in the Healthcare arena since 2003 and has held leadership positions within Maxim Health, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and Universal Health Services (UHS). Damian co-founded DrCruiter, a leader in Permanent Staffing Solutions. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for Healthcare Perspectives, a collaboration of information exchange for providers, healthcare groups and hospital systems. With his passion and enthusiasm for making a difference in Healthcare, he founded Korzen Health in 2019. Damian currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kent McMackin, PhD
Founder & President Physician Leaders for Today
Kent retired from the United States Navy after serving 23 years in Navy Medicine as a hospital administrator. He would go on to serve as a Chief Executive Officer in both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals as well as in senior executive leadership roles, at the corporate level, for HCA, Acadia Healthcare, and Cogent HMG, at that time the largest for-profit management service organization in the United States. For the last 11 years Kent has served as the Founder/President of Physician Leaders for Today, a company that focuses on developing and advancing physicians as leaders and consultants in the healthcare industry. He did his undergraduate work in Healthcare Services at Southern Illinois University; graduate work in Human Resource Management Development at Chapman University and post graduate work in Organizational Psychology at Walden University.

Jerry KaminskI, MPH
Director of Development
Jerry grew up in the tri-state NY/NJ area and attended college at Wake Forest University and Rutgers University, majoring in Chemistry. After several years of technical work in the molecular diagnostic industry, he continued postgraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. He previously held multiple consulting roles in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on sales and product marketing. He now brings his business development and technical expertise to the Korzen Health team. In his off time, he enjoys cycling and mountain biking throughout the North East USA. He also gives back to the community as a volunteer at local ESL classes. He's a fan of the NYC Red Bulls soccer team. Jerry currently resides in the New Jersey/Greater NYC metro area.

Kasia Chwesik, MSW
Director Recruitment Services
Born and Raised in Poland, Kasia moved to the United States at age sixteen. She completed her undergraduate degree with a major in Health Science at the College of Brockport. She then pursued and received her Masters in Social Work from The Greater Rochester ollaborative Master of Social Work Program Nazareth College & The College at Brockport State University of New York. In the past couple years Kasia has worked with the NY State Contact Tracing Initiative. Kasia currently resides in Fairport, NY with her husband, three children and two dogs.Kasia enjoys traveling, working on various DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends.

In every role, Ed has focused on driving innovation in behavioral health—expanding service lines, improving clinical operations, and building strategic partnerships. Ed is known for crafting effective payer strategies, including value-based contract negotiations and integrating behavioral and physical health services to reduce costs and address social determinants of health. Ed is a dedicated husband and father of three girls and an active member of his church, where he volunteers regularly. He has also served on various non-profit boards in his community.

Michael Murphy, MD
Physician Advisor- Tourish
A Harvard Medical School graduate, Dr. Murphy has held several leadership positions at health systems, psychiatric hospitals and medical centers in Massachusetts, Tennessee and Florida. He spent more than 5 years of his career serving as the National Medical Director for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Behavioral Health Services where he developed major initiatives in patient care quality and safety and set the tone for behavioral health care on a national level. He also practices and teaches at River Oaks Treatment Center, a substance use disorder treatment facility. He recently developed a fellowship training program in Addiction Medicine in collaboration with HCA and the Morsani School of Medicine at USF.

Miriam Tyson, MBA

Miriam Tyson has 35 years of healthcare experience, including 30 years with HCA. She started her Healthcare career in the San Francisco Bay area, and was involved in Provider Network Development for two large Managed Care Organizations. She then relocated to the Tampa Bay area and joined HCA through South Bay and Brandon Regional Hospitals where she was responsible for Physician Recruitment and Business Development. Miriam received her B.Sc. from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, and her Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Phoenix University, School of Business in Tampa, Florida She developed networks for three Level 11 Trauma Networks, Recruited GME Program Directors for 15 New Programs, and Core Faculty to support the growing programs. She also recruited Physicians to expand the Cardiovascular Service Line, Transplant Program, Behavioral Health, Hospitalists and Intensivists Programs throughout the West Florida Division. Miriam has also worked with a team to develop the Physician Succession/Risk Analysis Document for the HCA Facilities for Medical Staff Succession Planning.
